Pain and Discomfort Presentations
People may seek care at CAF when experiencing pain, discomfort or movement limitations in different areas of the body. Our approach focuses on assessing and working with the superficial fascial tissues that may be associated with an individual’s symptoms.

At CAF, we work with the fascial system throughout the body, with a particular focus on areas associated with discomfort, restricted movement and altered function. The superficial fascia forms a continuous layer of connective tissue extending from the head to the fingers and toes and contributes to movement, tissue mobility and normal bodily function. Changes in the mobility, sensitivity or function of fascial tissues may be associated with pain or movement limitations. Our approach aims to support comfortable movement and function by assessing and working with these tissues as part of an individualised treatment approach.
